Wandsworth Serves Up APP-Friendly Facility Pilot

Wandsworth Jung to display KNX at Grand Designs Show

Wandsworth Jung will be displaying their intelligent KNX Home Automation System at this years’ Grand Designs Show at the NEC Birmingham 12-14th October.

KNX is an open protocol which is used across Europe allowing the integration of a number of products such as lighting, heating, audio-visual, blinds and security systems, creating smarter home and office spaces. The open protocol nature of KNX also means that it is possible to add further elements to the system quickly and easily, as and when required. The system can be monitored and controlled by the Jung Facility Pilot software and touchscreen panel supplied by Wandsworth.

Integrating these systems into buildings can increase energy efficiency, producing savings at a time when companies and homeowners are looking for better energy management.

Wandsworth will also be displaying their innovative Penthouse range of Screwless flat plate wiring accessories. Penthouse is an upgrade to Wandsworths current Series Three range, still offering the desirable, screw-less finish but producing a flusher fit to the wall.

Wandsworth Group sign distributor agreement with Jung

Wandsworth Group has signed a Distribution deal with Albrecht Jung GMBH of Germany. Jung produce a number of ranges, including KNX technology, that will complement Wandsworth's existing electrical accessory ranges.

"By joining forces with Jung we open up our existing range and we’re also adding wiring accessories and door entry systems that match our electrical accessories for quality but also complement them in terms of design, enabling us to offer customers even greater choice.” explained Gary Stevens of the Wandsworth Group.

Jung's export manager Wolfgang Becker added "In Wandsworth we have found a partner that we can trust to deliver those values in the UK marketplace and a one that has the resources to drive understanding and uptake of our products in the UK."

KNX buildings control protocol used across Europe and enables the programming and integration of a number of products, including lighting and heating controls, using a single software tool. Integrating these systems in to buildings can lead to energy savings at a time when companies are looking for better energy management.

Arc Show previews new accessory range

The Wandsworth Group enjoyed a busy two days exhibiting at The Arc Show London. The show held this year at the Business Design Centre in London on 12th and 13th January is 'the only event for the lighting industry to source for major lighting projects'. Wandsworth group previewed their new flat plate 'Penthouse' range along with a new range of IPod docking station units. Further information on these two new products will be available shortly.

New Healthcare Containment Solutions

The Wandsworth Group is now introducing a new range of containment solutions. Feedback enabled Wandsworth to make some critical design and functionality changes to improve infection control, and speed up the installation process by offering pre-piped pre-wired units.
