TelePoint
TelePoint is a fully convergent, IP-based entertainment system delivering digital TV, digital radio and interactive video and audio over single data network cable in large buildings. The cable, CAT5e or CAT6, is an industry standard, designed for high-speed Ethernet which is also used to distribute the building's data and IP voice services.
TelePoint can provide a cost effective, future-proof solution that is capable of delivering multiple channels of digital TV and radio as well as interactive video and audio to any type of television or to standard desktop or laptop PCs. By sharing the same network as voice and data services, TelePoint entertainment services can be provided at minimum cost and disruption to the building.

Application Content Servers
Wandsworth Application and Content Servers are the heart of a full TelePoint system; they are high performance Intel based servers specifically equipped to deliver high quality MPEG Interactive or Scheduled Audio Video (AV) Media content.
It gives the user the ability to fast forward, rewind and pause all content, as well as pre-determine start times for all content.
IPTV
A revolutionary way to deliver live and pre-recorded digital TV and Radio broadcasts is by using IP Multicast over standard network cabling. This allows the delivery of high quality digital TV and radio over a building's Ethernet data network which can be viewed either on televisions (LCD televisions with stereo sound are recommended to take full advantage of the digital audio and video quality) or on PCs
The Wandsworth Group has developed a cost-effective, easy manageable method of delivering digital quality Television (DVB), Digital Radio free-to-air transmissions as well as encrypted services (via Set-top box); plus a method to distribute pre-recorded analogue content (DVD, VHS or CCTV for example).
Local Distribution Unit
The Local Distribution Unit (LDU) from the Wandsworth Group has been designed to reduce cabling costs by providing a local 7-port Ethernet distribution switch for each room, suite of rooms or work area.
The self-contained switch is housed within a standard flush electrical wall box, to match the Wandsworth group range of electrical accessories.
Media Gateway
Media Gateway from the Wandsworth Group has been designed to operate over the building's structured category cabling (CAT5/5E/6/7).
It will enable the use of televisions or displays anywhere in the building to receive high quality MPEG digital TV channels, digital radio and distribute local or home produced content, using IP Multicast and is housed within a stylish Wandsworth designed electrical accessory.
Media Player
TelePoint's Media Player software is loaded into an appropriate PC or laptop.
The TV is selected by simply clicking on the TelePoint Media Player icon on the desktop, which opens the TelePoint window, and lists all available TV and radio channels.
