Mercury Switches |
| |
Mercury switches are for use in hospital operating
theatres, laboratories, etc. where certain explosive gases and vapours
are present. They are constructed so that electrical contact is made
and broken by means of mercury in a sealed tube which eliminates
open sparking. |

as described above and are used where protection is required. Cover
plates are in stainless steel (SS) with satin rocker.

Switched Socket |
| |
The Wemlock 13amp switched socket works in the same
way as Wemlock switches ensuring that power cannot be provided without
key operation.

Lockable Enclosure |
| |
A lockable enclosure suitable for use in shopping
precincts or other areas where restricted use is required. The hinged
lid is finished in stainless steel. Each unit is supplied with two
internal plates to accept 1 or 2 gang accessories from our series
2 range. Accessories must be ordered separately with their respective
front plates and grids.
Top cover overall: 186 wide x 150 high.

Mains Voltage Indicators |
| |
The 240 volt indicators are suitable for use as warning
lights for dark rooms, dispensary alarms, remote lights connected
to security cupboards for controlled drugs and ‘room engaged’ signs.
Cover plate finishes are stainless steel (SS).
Red lenses are supplied as standard. Alternative replacement lenses, reference
QD337, are available in green (GR), blue (BL), amber (A), clear (CL). |

Isolators |
| |
Isolators are used in commercial or industrial applications
such as kitchens, laundries, laboratories, etc., where plant requires
isolation for maintenance or in emergencies.
Cover plates are stainless steel (SS).
Switching is rated 100A 500V, 50/60 Hz to BS EN 60947-3. |
